Singer, bandleader and entertainment designer Sarah Stivers is a native of Louisville, KY.  In 1983, she sang with a small group at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and her experiences there sparked a lifelong passion for both the French language and the Cabaret tradition.  In 2003, Sarah combined her interests in French and Music when she was hired to perform with a trio in a small club in Paris.

Her work in the French-speaking trio taught Sarah the value of being able to perform various styles at a moment’s notice.  Her repertoire now includes music from the Mozart to Maroon 5 and she leads four different-sized bands that play Disco, Big Band, Cabaret style, Rock & Roll, Jazz, Broadway, Motown, Country, Classical, 70s music, Bluegrass and Show Tunes.  Though she has been labeled a pop singer, a jazz vocalist and a cabaret chanteuse, Sarah considers herself a “musical chameleon.”

Sarah is also an entrepreneur who designs and staffs entertainment for special events.  She worked with the Temptations in April, 2013 and she has contracted entertainment for the Association of the Louisville Orchestra, Churchill Downs, the Festival of Faiths, Woodford Reserve Distillery, the Shamrock Foundation’s Art for the Animals, the Governor’s Derby Train, Brown-Forman, Actors Theatre and the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Kickoff party.

Sarah is the featured weekly entertainment at the West Baden Hotel, the French Lick Resort and the Marriott’s Blu Lounge.  You can catch her various shows on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
